New Marvel “What If..” Funko Pop Spotted – 878 King Killmonger

A new Pop was spotted in the wild with Erik Killmonger holding what looks like an Ultron Drone Head. It should be hitting the US retail exclusive soon.

In American comic books published by Marvel Comics, Erik Killmonger is a fictional supervillain who appears as a villainous character. The character was created by Don McGregor and Rich Buckler and originally appears in Jungle Action vol. 2, issue #6 in 1992. (Sept. 1973). Death Dealer Killmonger, whose real name is N’Jadaka, is an adversary of the Black Panther.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Black Panther (2018), Michael B. Jordan played the role of the titular character.

What If…? is an anticipated American animated anthology series, based on the Marvel Comics series of the same name, that will debut on the Disney+ streaming service. The concept investigates how the movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) would have played out differently if significant sequences from the films were different. This is the first animated series that Marvel Studios has created since establishing a production business of their own. Bradley acts as the show’s lead writer, with Bryan Andrews as the show’s director.

Watchers (Jeffrey Wright) introduce and narrate the series. According to an early rumor in March 2019, Marvel Studios is producing a series for Disney+ that is based on the What If…? comic. A month after the announcement, the whole cast had been confirmed to provide their voices to the series. Marvel Studios’ visual development supervisor Ryan Meinerding was instrumental in crafting the series’ hand-drawn cel-shaded look, which was developed to accurately represent the movies. Animation for the first season is provided by Squeeze and Flying Bark Productions, with Stephan Franck as head of animation.

In August 2021, “What If…?” will debut with 10 episodes. It will be part of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In development is a second 10-episode season of the show.
